The main aim when establishing GP Forum was to offer medical education to all primary care medics.

Over time it became clear that face to face communication, which included interactive discussion, was the best way of providing effective primary care medical education.

This approach benefits patient and practice outcomes and also builds a stronger connection between the primary and secondary care interface.

GP Forum is a family run business and was established in 1989 by Malcolm Banks who already had a wealth of experience of running medical educational study days both in the NHS and Private Sector - especially in association with GP Tutors, Hospital Departments and GPs with special interests.

As the business grew, so did Malcolm's family.

Today he is joined in running the business by his wife Rachel, two of his daughters and a dedicated team of staff.

GP Forum provides a national coverage offering low cost and no cost study days and webinars, which are supported by trade exhibitions and promotional product presentations.

Therefore, when attending, your interest of the exhibition and product promotional presentations would be appreciated.

GP Forum has an evolving programme of topics and content,

continually updated to provide cutting edge medical education.
